Oracle database is an object Relational Database Management System produced and marked by Oracle Corporations.

Oracle is made up of a set of processes walking in your operating process. These processes manage how information (Data) is stored and the way it is accessed. I will cover these processes in detail in the future but for now they need to understand that Oracle is a program that is walking in the background, maintaining your information for you & figuring out where it ought to go on your hard drive.

Users of the Oracle databases refer to the server-side memory-structure as the System Global Area. The SGA naturally holds cache information such as data-buffers

The Oracle RDBMS stores information logically in the type of table spaces & physically in the type of information files .Table spaces can contain various types of memory segments, such as Information Segments, Index Segments, etc. Segments in turn comprise or more extents. Extents comprise groups of contiguous information blocks. Information blocks form the basic units of information storage.

There are two components of Oracle Developer. Oracle form and Oracle Reports.

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is the Enterprise Graphical User Interface (GUI) tool to manage the database.

From this tool, you can perform any action in the database that is necessary. This tool is primarily used for administration but may even be provided to developers for application tuning and monitoring. In Oracle 10g, OEM also provides Grid control.
